Henry O. Studley Tool Cabinet and Workbench
For the first time in history the incomparable Henry O. Studley tool cabinet AND its companion workbench will be available for viewing by the public in an intimate exhibit organized by the Barn on White Run. This will be an amazing experience for Studley Tool Chest aficionados and all admirers of brilliant design and exacting craftsmanship.
This three-day-only exhibit will be at the Scottish Rite Temple of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, May 15-17, 2015. This exhibit coincides with the Handworks 2 gathering of hand-tool aficionados and makers, which will be only a few minutes away in nearby Amana, Iowa.
There is a $25 admission fee for attendance to the exhibit. To maximize the experience of visitors, each admission ticket will be for a fifty-minute window, where 60 visitors at a time will have a unique opportunity to observe and photograph the cabinet and workbench, and interact with the project’s principals.
Only 1,200 tickets are available. In keeping with the generosity of the ensemble's owner – he requests only anonymity, which we will certainly respect and I hope you will too - the ticket price reflects the actual costs of the event.
Tickets will be available for purchase beginning 12:01 AM Eastern time, June 1, 2014 until all 1,200 tickets are sold. The link to purchasing tickets will go active at that time.
